Brock’s Physical Education program is the Faculty’s longest standing program and offers outstanding potential for those interested in human movement, performance and inclusive physical activity education.

Our degree will provide you with a broad understanding of the discipline, with maximum flexibility in course selections. You may choose recommended courses in the following areas: coaching, disability studies, pedagogy, socio-cultural perspectives and sport injury prevention and care. The program provides activity-based classes as well as opportunities for practical experience through field placements and practical that includes both domestic and international settings.

Brock is one of a limited number of universities in Canada to meet national accreditation standards for our Physical Education program, as set out by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators.

The requirement for graduation with a BPhEd (Honours) is a minimum 70 percent major average and a minimum 60 percent non-major average. The requirement for graduation with a BPhEd is a minimum 60 percent major average and a minimum 60 percent overall average.

Applicants must have Senior Secondary school credential appropriate for entry to university in your home country; academically rigorous grade 12 year; Minimum B- average (higher for some programs). Applicants who have successfully completed the IB diploma with the appropriate prerequisite subjects will be considered for admission. Students must have completed a (Grade 12) Senior High School Graduation Certificate (3 Years) plus final transcript showing Grade 12 first and second term grades. English proficiency requirements: IELTS - overall 6.5, no band below 6.0, TOEFL - overall 88, with minimum 21 on speaking and 21 on writing, MELAB - overall 85, no other part under 80, CAEL - overall 70, no other band score under 60, IELP Level 5 - Successful completion of Level 5 of the Brock Intensive English Language program.
