Students undertake the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major in their first year and on successful completion proceed in their second year to a chosen Engineering and Science specialisation.

The double degree is designed to prepare students who will graduate as engineers with advanced scientific skills in a discipline closely aligned with their engineering specialty. The combination of the two degree programs provides graduates with the ability to work at the interface between the two disciplines in research and development.

The following double degree major combinations are available:

Mechatronic Engineering Honours and Computer Science
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Honours and Computer Science
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Honours and Data Science
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Honours and Physics
