Our Bachelor of Finance is designed to give you core skills in corporate finance, investment valuation, economic theory and data analysis. You'll also have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of majors and minors, including accounting, management and international business. Learn in a trading room equipped with Bloomberg Terminals, then use them to get a competitive edge by earning your Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certificate.

Get industry-recognised qualifications. La Trobe University is affiliated with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and our Bachelor of Finance covers Level I of their CFA Program examinations.

Undertake a voluntary work placement with leading firms like Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ANZ - and gain real-world experience while you study. You'll also turn theory into practice through our authentic core capstone subject.

Professional recognition

With the completion of the Accounting major and two additional subjects, students may be eligible to graduate with an accounting qualification accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ); refer to the Accounting major for further details.
