Why an arts degree?

You get a definite sense of accomplishment from overcoming obstacles. Discussions that revolve around differing ideas, opinions, perceptions and beliefs energize you. When you think about the future, you don't just want to be prepared for something; you want to be prepared for anything.

An arts degree says that you are a person who likes to challenge and be challenged. You will learn about human nature and the human mind as they are revealed through the arts, the languages and the politics of past and present cultures. By expanding your knowledge and becoming a critical thinker and good communicator, you will be equipped to adapt, learn, analyze, problem-solve and innovate.

What will I study?

A Bachelor of Arts emphasizes both breadth and depth of study and allows you exceptional flexibility and customization. You can complete a major and a minor, a double major, or a major and two minors. You can also adjust the size of your major and minor to explore subjects and disciplines to the extent you want.

Political Science

As Aristotle points out, the 'science' of politics is the master science on which all other aspects of civilization depend. Political scientists examine how humans organize their societies and make collective decisions. Students taking political science will be able to understand and evaluate complex political issues in the contemporary world, develop independent analytical ability, and learn the basic concepts for making intelligent political analysis.

Other English Language Requirements accepted: P-TOEFL (paper based) score of 580; PTE Academic with a minimum overall score of 59 and a minimum score of 56 in each band. Minimum overall band score of 70 and a minimum score of 60 in each band; An O-level, GSCE or IGCSE English Language or Literature course of B (minimum grade)is required.
