項目背景：現(xiàn)如今很多企業(yè)中非常重要的業(yè)務決策都是基于對公司財務報表的分析做出的。例如，公司收購合并，或者購買別家公司股權，或者銀行向公司提供貸款，又或是投資銀行和券商在股票發(fā)行中為客戶的股票定價。 所有這些決策中，分析師都努力了解公司競爭優(yōu)勢的來源，并批判性地評估公司如何執(zhí)行（或不執(zhí)行）這些戰(zhàn)略。本項目從管理者最關心的財務分析維度出發(fā)，并以實際公司為案例進行深度解讀和分析，采用趨勢分析法、比率分析法及因素分析法，沈刻理解財務會計分析在企業(yè)打造成功中的重要作用。 A number of very important business decisions are made based on the analysis of a corporation’s financial statements. For example, one firm may be considering acquiring another firm. An investment manager may consider purchasing equity shares in a firm. A retail bank may be considering lending to a firm. Or an investment bank may need to price a client’s shares in an equity offering. In all of these decisions, analysts strive to understand the sources of a firm’s competitive advantage and critically assess how the firm has executed (or not) on those strategies. Many retail firms are still facing significant business loss due to Covid 19 while Costco, the king of member-only retail business, achieved an unexpected growth in 20/21 and created huge success in China as well. In the view of business analysis, it is vital to have deep insight from the firm's accounting and financial statements to make better business decisions.

項目介紹：項目內容主要包括公司概況與戰(zhàn)略分析、財務分析技巧、財務比率分析等理論知識與案例實戰(zhàn)。本項目將向學生介紹進行財務報表分析所需的技能，這些技能與金融行業(yè)的廣泛職位相關，包括銀行、資產管理、私募股權和并購。學生將運用財務報告分析方法，財務關鍵指標的運算，對某一企業(yè)進行財務報告分析并撰寫財務分析報告，在項目結束時提交小組報告，進行成果展示。
This course will introduce students to skills required to conduct financial statement analysis. These skills are relevant for a broad set of positions in the finance industry including banking, asset management, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. Students will complete a project in which they will analyse the financial statements of a publicly-traded firm. Lectures will be sequenced so that students can complete a portion of the project after each lecture. The deliverable for the project will be a report describing the student’s findings and a presentation made to the class.
