Nowadays, some workplaces tend to employ equal numbers of men and women workers. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

應該分配:
1. 這是對于女性的一種補償和鼓勵,讓她們能夠在任何崗位中鍛煉和證明自己,也是對女性的一種解放和尊重。
2. 女性的加入是一種潤滑劑,她們性格溫柔,有耐心和彈性,能有效化解員工之間的矛盾。
3. 女性的加入能增加男女之間的相互了解和相互學習,培養(yǎng)了真正的社交能力。
不應該分配:
1. 這是一種女權(quán)主義泛濫的表現(xiàn),這會導致原來那種“以能力為中心“的人才選拔標準的坍塌。結(jié)果是,我們招聘到的女性很可能工作能力和動力都不足。
2. 男女之間天然會產(chǎn)生吸引,這種戀愛關(guān)系會分散員工的工作關(guān)注度。
3. 有些工作不適合女性,如消防,海上救生,特種部隊,它們對員工的生理強壯有較高要求,女性無法承擔。
范文(Band 9):
Under a long-time view of women being mistreated, many so-called female-liberation suggests come into being, and one of them is that certain amount of social high-level positions should be only for women. In my opinion, this issue is partially reasonable.
On one hand, women can prove their competence in leadership of certain industries. In terms of the fact that most of public services including hospital, rest home, baby-care center, school education, tourism and retail industries, females have been massively employed as the main force for working, the introduction of female leaders into leadship positions is necessary, like managers, directors and executives, because the gender coherence between the superior and the subordinate can minimize misunderstandings and conflicts in group. For example, female leaders can naturally understand and be familiar with practical difficulties and challenges of vast basic-level employees, such as physical changes, pregnancy, and personal health care, as well as play a role of soul partner by intimately listening to and talking with their emotional discomforts. Therefore, in these industries mainly consisting of women, female leaders have huge advantages to build up a smooth and harmonious working atmosphere, and encourage workers to be more productive and loyal.
On the other hand, this issue is inherently problematic because it grants women some political previliges. At present, general cooperate cultures are open and inclusive(無男女性別歧視的),with no discrimination against females on purpose. In other words, for a company, core standards of measuring whether a person is fit for a high-level job primarily depend on working abilities and experience, educaion, personalities, talents and interpersonal skills. Sex, however, is least important and often ignored. Therefore, it is very ridiculous and even risky to force companies to label certain number of senior jobs as" only for women", because in a job interview, a mediorce woman with political mercy can easily defeat male candidates, no matter how talented or enthusiastic the latters are. Obviously, the shift of leader-selecting policy from talent-orientedness to gender-centeredness is considerably unfair, it would destroy the positive competitive mechanism among employess and quell the passion and motivation of males in job, finally. Moreover, in the level of business development, the leadership team might miss right new male leaders who have real competence and ambition and ability to make sound plans and desicions.
In conclusion, this measure is unwise. Although it can enhance the productivity of female-dominated business, its destructive effects on talent-selecting system might should never be overlooked, for the reason that it will largely lower overall morale of workers, and even make a company's running on the vedge of collapse due to the lack of proper leaders.
